Health Canada is reporting 5 cases in the country. All of them are in Quebec. 20 more cases are being investigated. On May 07, the first case of Monkeypox was reported in UK. The person traveled to Nigeria and got it from there, UK Health Security Agency said.
Causation of Monkeypox is a virus, a member of the same family of viruses as smallpox, although it is much less severe and experts say chances of infection are very low. There are tow main strains, West African and Central African. Citizens should avoid travel and be cautious.
