Brampton downtown where the footpaths are not that wide, restaurants that did not have any patio or outdoor spaces were allowed to takeover the road. It was only allow when the restrictions imposed by the provincial government to stop spreading the virus but the facility was not taken away when the sanctions were removed by the City of Brampton. City of Brampton is trying to put life to the downtown core but there are hardly any attraction there as most of the businesses are closed and the retail shops are being converted into offices. A huge construction project is underway, that perhaps would give a boost to the businesses around that area but it would take at least two more years.
