Mississauga had the biggest new year event although Brampton and Caledon also did celebrate but Mississauga’s event was the largest. The reason was obvious since it was the last event of Mayor Bonnie Crombie who would be resigning within few days. It was huge, people were everywhere. The people on the roads around the celebration square were 5 times more than they were in the square and everyone was eager to reach somewhere to see the stage but there were only few lucky who could do that. Mississauga never had a crowed like this in the recent history.
