Everyone is asking the same question, why the stolen cars leave our borders and sold outside the country. Is is too difficult to scan the VIN number, physically of a vehicle being exported and clamp it right there.

Some cars are stolen and in use within the country. A car, in green color was stolen. The thief stole the name plate only of a similar model green car and stated using it. But because the green color is not so common like black, the police ran nameplates of many of them and found the thief.

Another issue is hard-to-read nameplates. Some of them are faded and some people are using a dark color weather cover they call to protect the name plate, but one can not see the car. Perhaps one day, police would start issuing tickets to unreadable plates.
