Uniformed officers from the Peel Regional Police 12 Division Neighbourhood Policing Unit have arrested and charged two males with numerous firearm and drug related offences.

On August 29, 2017, at 4:25 p.m., officers investigated two males in relation to a drug-related incident in the area of Hurontario Street and Dundas Street in the City of Mississauga. Upon arrest, police located a loaded firearm on one of the accused parties.  The firearm, a ‘Para Ordnance’ P16-40, .40 calibre semi-automatic handgun, along with over $10,000 in Canadian currency and cocaine and heroin with a street value of $4600 were seized.

Aaron DENIESE, a 27 year-old male from Sudbury, has been charged with numerous firearm related offences.

Rimzan LYE, a 26 year-old male from Brampton, has been charged with numerous firearm and drug related charges.

DENIESE and LYE were both held for bail hearings scheduled for today, August 30, 2017, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
