Mississauga Lakeshore Liberal Candidate Elizabeth Mendes hosts a fundraiser in a local restaurant with some honorable guests like former Finance Minister Charles Sausa, Ward 5 Councilor Carolyn Parrish, Ward 11 Councilor George Carlson and many more.

Elizabeth grew up in Mississauga-Lakeshore and has extensive work and community experience. She and her husband Jeremy are proud parents of Emma.  Elizabeth knows first hand the struggles faced by parents and that is why she cares deeply about our children’s future.

A strong advocate for the riding, she pushed to improve our schools and successfully secured investments for our local hospital expansion, protected our waterfront and championed better transit.

She is also a director of a new not-for-profit long-term care and affordable housing complex to provide safe, dignified, and compassionate care for our most vulnerable seniors. As a principal owner of a consulting practice, she also continues to support local businesses.

Not long after graduating from the University of Toronto, Elizabeth worked at the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Citizenship & Immigration, and played a key role as Director of Policy at the Ministry of Finance.
