Liberal faced shocks from its own wings first Raj Saini was dropped from the race after a misconduct complain from a worker then former MP Celina Caesar-Chavannes’s announcement that she would be helping conservatives instead Liberals in this election. Celina Caesar-Chavannes first ran without success in a byelection race in 2014 after sudden death of Jim Flaherty, finance minister in Harper’s government. She ran again in 2015 and became a Liberal MP. Following her mental illness, she quitted the party calling Trudeau a “fake feminist.”
